Fragile – eins meiner Lieblingslieder läuft im Auto und mir die Tränen. Ich war noch nie gut in Abschied nehmen, aber der hier aus diesem Nest voller Wärme und Liebe fiel besonders schwer. Es regnet, wie passend. Das war nicht nur eine Station meiner Reise, das war so viel mehr.

Der Regen von morgen wird die Flecken wegspülen,
aber in unseren Seelen wird etwas für immer zurückbleiben.

Eigentlich hatte ich mir Cong als Station für heute überlegt, aber der Wetterbericht sagt Sonnenschein für morgen auf Achill Island, meiner nächsten Station. Da ich zum Achill Head wandern will, beschließe ich kurzer Hand, weiterzufahren. Bin eh grad in Stimmung. Nicht nur die Fahrt ist atemberaubend, auch die Insel und der Campingplatz erst! Ich buche gleich für zwei Nächte. Wind egal, 15 Grad egal, diese Aussicht ist einfach der Hammer. Passt natürlich nicht auf eine Linse.

Fragile

one of my favourite songs is on the radio and my tears are falling down. I was never good in taking farewell, but this one here from a nest of so much warmth and love was extra hard. It’s raining, how suitable. That wasn’t just a station of my journey, it was so much more.

Tomorrow’s rain will wash the stains away,
but something in our minds will always stay.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. I don’t know what to say, when thank you is not enough.

Actually I chose Cong as my station for today. But the forecast says sunshine for Achill Island for tomorrow, which should be my next station. Because I want to hike to Achill Head I decide spontaneously to drive further. I am in the right mood now. Not just the views on the way are stunning, no, the whole island and even the campsite! I book two nights. I don’t mind the heavy wind and quite cold temperature, the view is just breathtaking. And doesn‘ fit on one lense of Course.
