Nach dem Frühstück trödel ich so rum und währenddessen reißt doch tatsächlich der Himmel auf?! Blau. Ich sehe ein Stück blauen Himmel, das immer größer wird. Kurzentschlossen bleibe ich und hole meine Cliff-Wanderung nach.

Auf dem Weg dorthin verlaufe ich mich etwas, das heißt, irgendwie ist der Weg zu Ende und die Frage, wie gefährlich ist der Bulle oder doch lieber außen rum?

Während ich überlege, kommt ein Pärchen mit derselben Fragestellung. Wir entscheiden uns für die sichere Variante und schnattern bis wir bei den Klippen ankommen.

Und dann ist es so wie bestellt. Einfach nur schön. Und irgendwer hat in der Zwischenzeit auch den Atlantik gebügelt. Flach wie ein Brett. Ist das zu glauben?

Jessicas Bruder kommt zu Besuch und abends grillen wir Hähnchen. So verdammt nah am perfekten Tag war ich lange nicht.

Who has ironed the Atlantic?

After the breakfast I am dawdling and suddenly the sky turns blue. Blue I said. Spontaneously I decide to stay and make good for my cliff walk.

On the way to it I get a bit lost, that means not really lost it’s more the way stops and there is the question how dangerous the bull is or if it wouldn’t be better to walk around on the outside. While I am asking myself a couple appears with the same question. We decide to take the safe version and chat til we reach the cliffs.

And then it is as ordered. Simply beautiful. Stunning. And somebody must have ironed the Atlantic in the meantime. Flat as a pancake. It’s unbelievable, isn’t it?

Jessica’s brother comes to say hello and in the evening we have chicken on the barbecue. I haven’t been so close to the perfect day for a long time.
