So beginnt mein Morgen. Ja, .. Oh mein Gott.

Danach kommt der Regen und ich will nach St. Peter Port fahren. Mir die Stadt angucken, einen Reiseführer kaufen (ich war ja nicht vorbereitet auf Kanalinseln) und mich über die Fahrt nach Sark schlau machen. Sark ist auch eine der Kanalinseln, allerdings autofrei.

Ich kläre zuerst Sark und dann, ja dann beginnt eine Reise durch das Schlaraffenland. Sowas hab ich noch nie gesehen. Die Geschäfte hier… Und die Lebensmittel… Achso, die Kanalinseln sind übrigens steuerfrei, das hatte ich noch nicht erwähnt.

Schöne Bilder hole ich nach, ich wollte keinen Wasserschaden im Handy riskieren.

Die hier sind handgemacht und definitiv die besten, die ich je gegessen habe.

Und verkauft hat sie mir Ben. Der hat sie übrigens auch selbst gemacht. Das kann man durch die Glasscheibe in seinem Laden sehen. Er ist hier geboren und lebt hier. Warum erzähle ich euch das? Weil es den Charme dieser Stadt wiedergibt. Hier ist nichts mit Kette… Hier ist alles mit Liebe. St. Peter Port ist stolz darauf, nicht ein Fast Food Restaurant zu haben. Ist das nicht schön???

Oh my god

Right, this is how my morning begins. Yes, … Oh my god.

It turns to rains afterwards and I want to go to St. Peter Port. Have a look at the town, buy a travel guide (because I wasn’t prepared to come here) and to go to the harbour and get some informations about my trip to Sark, which is a one the Channel Islands, too, but car free.

I get Sark done first and then my journey through the land of milk and honey starts. I haven’t seen anything like that before. The shops… And the food… Ah, by the way the Channel Islands are taxfree, I haven’t mentioned that so far. I will take nice pictures again, I didn’t want to risk a water damage to my mobile.

These ones are handmade and definitely the best I have ever had. I got them from Ben, who made them himself. You can watch him through glass in his shop. He was born here and is still living here. Why am I telling you that? Because it should show you the character of this town. No chains, just made with love. St. Peter Port is very proud to have none fast food restaurants. Really none. Isn’t that great?
