Ashley begleitet mich sogar noch bis zur Bushaltestelle. Wer mich morgens beim Frühstück schon zum lachen bringt, hat wirklich einen ganz besonderen Humor. Überhaupt waren unsere Talente und Persönlichkeit sehr dicht aneinander, unsere Begegnung sehr inspirierend. Trennung mit drei Mal drücken.

Es sind 28 Grad vorhergesagt, ob das heute was mit weitergehen wird, weiß ich noch nicht. Ich nehme die Fähre nach Dartmouth

und musste zum ersten mal eine teure Übernachtung bezahlen. Das Zimmer ist sehr klein, aber extrem geschmackvoll.

Ehrlich gesagt brauche ich das nur gar nicht. Einmal schlafen, einmal duschen, weiter gehts. Aber Dartmouth ist ein Luxusdorf, was auch wirklich unfassbar schön ist. Also nochmal doppelt so schön wie Brixham, weil es ganz viele kleine Läden und Kunstgalerien hat. Dann kosten unter 10 Quadratmeter ohne Frühstück auch mal dreistellig.

Als ich losgehe, ist es schon 12 Uhr, die Sonne knallt wie in den Tropen. Und ein bisschen sieht es auch so aus.

Zwei Stunden später erkläre ich die heutige Etappe für beendet. Das ist ja ein Wahnsinn in der Hitze. Dann bummel ich lieber durch die Stadt. Ich kann zwar nichts kaufen, aber gucken und ein Kaltgetränk am Hafen geht ja immer. Und genau das mache ich auch: im Schatten treiben lassen.

Tropical (Dartmouth)

Ashley even accompanies me to the bus stop. Anyone who makes me laugh at breakfast in the morning really has a very special sense of humour. In general, our talents and personalities were very close together, and our encounter was very inspiring. Three press disconnect.

28 degrees are predicted, I don’t know if that will continue today. I’m taking the ferry to Dartmouth and had to pay for an expensive overnight stay for the first time. The room is very small but extremely tasteful.

To be honest, I just don’t need it. One sleep, one shower, on we go. But Dartmouth is a luxury village, which is also incredibly beautiful. So twice as nice as Brixham because it has a lot of small shops and art galleries. Then less than 10 square meters without breakfast sometimes costs three digits.

When I leave, it’s already 12 o’clock, the sun is beating down like in the tropics. And it looks a bit like that too.

Two hours later I declare today’s stage over. That’s crazy in the heat. Then I prefer to stroll through the city. I can’t buy anything, but I can always take a look and have a cold drink at the port. And that’s exactly what I do: drift in the shade.
